Dear Valued Customer,
As we announced in our earlier email, we are rolling out Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for ParishSOFT Accounting as part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your data. This added layer of security ensures that your account is better protected against unauthorized access.
Effective tomorrow, October 30th 2024, we will introduce MFA for all login attempts on ParishSOFT Accounting. This simply means that in addition to entering your email and password, you will also need to enter a secure one-time login code provided via text message, authenticator app, email, or other means. This extra layer of security ensures that your account is accessible only to you and those you trust.
For those using shared credentials, it's crucial to note that each login attempt will now require access to the email address tied to the account. We strongly recommend adopting separate login credentials for each user to comply with security best practices.
We've developed three critical resources to help you and your parishes transition to MFA. To get started, please do the following:
