From time to time, there are issues when attempting to print a message, calendar event, etc. out of the Windows client to a PDF ......
After attempting to do so, a text log file will actually be created (similar to that shown below) in place of the desired PDF file .....
Should this happen, we know of two workarounds that can be performed (the second of which may produce more permanent results).
1. Instead of using the "Print to" option as shown above (i.e. Adobe PDF), try instead to choose the "Microsoft Print to PDF" option as shown below ....
2. Go into the Printer Properties for your Adobe PDF printer:
- Go to the Adobe PDF Printer Settings
- Next, Click on Preferences
- UNCHECK "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" as shown below
